Serumpun Living (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit serumpunliving.wordpress.com, how it is used and the choices you have. This site is hosted on WordPress.com, a service operated by Automattic Inc.
Information We Collect
- Information you give us. If you use our contact form or leave a comment, we receive the name, email address and message you provide. Contact-form messages are stored in our WordPress.com dashboard and forwarded to our inbox. We use it only to reply to you and to moderate comments.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, WordPress.com and its built-in Jetpack features may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and the date and time of your visit.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. WordPress.com uses cookies to operate the site, remember your comment details, count visits and, where WordPress.com shows advertising, to serve ads. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. See Automattic’s Cookie Policy for details.
Advertising
This site runs on WordPress.com’s free plan, and WordPress.com may display its own advertisements on it. We do not choose these ads and do not earn from them. Automattic and its advertising partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads. See Automattic’s Privacy Policy for details and your choices. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
Analytics
We use the built-in WordPress.com (Jetpack) statistics to understand how readers use the site, for example which articles are popular. This information is aggregated and helps us improve the magazine.
Links to Other Websites
Our articles sometimes link to other websites, such as official tourism pages and the venues and businesses we write about. When you visit one, that site may set its own cookies, and its handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the content or practices of external sites.
Comments
Comments are moderated and checked for spam by Akismet, an Automattic service. When you comment, the name you provide (or your WordPress.com or social profile name) is shown publicly with your comment; your email address is not published. Please do not include personal information you do not wish to share publicly.
Your Choices and Rights
You may ask us to delete a comment or message you have sent us by using our contact form. Where applicable law, including Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010, gives you rights over your personal data, we will respond to reasonable requests.
Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
External Links
We link to other websites for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
